Product Description
The Baier BRDC-SS4000 is a controlled, non-impact cordless torque wrench for selected wind turbine assembly and maintenance tasks. It delivers 600–4000 Nm through a 1 in square drive with ±5% torque accuracy and ±2% repeatability. Its Metabo-brand brushless motor and Metabo-brand 18 V LiHD battery support elevated, remote and nacelle-area bolting without an external power cable, hydraulic pump or hose.

Model selection note
For routine repetitive operation, the specified working torque should normally remain at or below approximately 80% of the model maximum - about 3200 Nm for BRDC-SS4000.

The digital interface shows operating information including torque value, battery level, operating mode and temperature. Buzzer alerts and tightening-result feedback support the operator during the tightening cycle.
Data storage, export, remote software support and connectivity modules are configuration-dependent. Confirm the required functions before ordering.
Reaction-arm geometry must match the real support point and available operating space. Baier can assess standard curved, Z-type, double-force, four-point and sliding-arm options, as well as custom geometry for confirmed projects.

Is BRDC-SS4000 suitable for every wind turbine bolt?
No. It is intended for selected joints whose specified torque, socket size, reaction point and operating space match the tool. Foundation bolts, large tower-flange connections and joints requiring hydraulic tensioning must follow the turbine manufacturer's approved procedure.
